Another great day at TEAM RISE, the brilliant people from 40’s re-enactment North came along and set up lots of 40’s memorabilia, from uniforms to guns we had it all, everybody got into trying on the outfits and learnt a bit of history. We also had some typical wartime food, a big plate of corned beef hash which went down very well.
40’s Re-enactment North are 1940s enthusiasts who like going to steam railways, museums and other places holding 1940s wartime-themed shows. We put on living history displays which enhance the visitor experience of the events which we go to. Re-enactment means taking pride in your collection of clothing and uniforms, meeting people, and sharing knowledge.
But most of all, it is about having fun.
